The fairy lights have just been brought out of storage and the festive snow globe is out on Claire’s desk, so Christmas has officially started to arrive in the Hummingbird studio! OK, we know its early… but there’s only 23 more days at work so we’re getting into the Christmas spirit. Well, we are already surrounded by all the Christmas stock! We’ve been busy designing NEW laser cut Christmas cards and we’re so excited with the final results we had to share! A date to celebrate

Red inlay paper has been scattered across our work benches after the amazing success of the Ruby Wedding Anniversary cards. Its been truly amazing how quickly they just took off. We couldn’t cut them quick enough at one point and we were down to just the one last lonely card, sat on the shelf wondering where the stock we’d made had gone to so quickly! So with wedding anniversaries on our minds we rushed to create Silver, Golden and Pearl Anniversary cards too. We’ve been adding new designs to our greeting card collection and we’re so excited with these little lovelies. They’re not just a Christmas card but a decoration to display too! A New Year sale!

Laser cut snowflakes!

We were delighted to be asked to make laser cut Christmas cards again this year for the lovely people at Kirei. The finished cards have a delicate snowflake laser cut to the front & are printed inside with a Christmas message. Each card is finished off with a festive red envelope. Here’s a few snaps we took before they were wrapped & sent on their way to be written!

Hand illustrated Christmas cards

Since it’s only a couple of months until Christmas we thought we’d share with you the latest Christmas additions to the Hummingbird greetings card range. These hand illustrated cards are printed in black & red ink onto silk cardstock. Each card comes sealed in a protective cello bag together with a red envelope.
