Our dear friend, inspirational photographer and secret spa indulger (we both share a love for Ragdale Hall!) Rachael Connerton, has just posted the most wonderful and oh so generous feature on little old Hummingbird Cards. Yesterday was an absolute joy. After weeks of preparations, creating new designs and perfecting the show room we finally reached 1st February. Whilst searching for laser cut cards, Samantha Greenhalgh found our website and felt our stationery would perfectly compliment a wedding styled shoot she was planning. The theme she said was slightly unusual and would we be interested in sending something special for the shoot! ‘It’s going to be an all white colour shoot with a focus on texture and form with unusual details’ she told us. Back in October we spent a Sunday exhibiting at Save the Date’s Wedding Event with a Difference. It was a fantastic day – full of inspirational ideas & lovely people! We first met Amy last November at the Save the Date show. She’d already found us online but took the opportunity to come & chat with us in person at the show. Amy saw the Vintage Garden Party invitation & (in her own words) fell in love with it! She chose to have laser cut invitations with a manilla inlay & ivory ribbon. She had matching manilla place tags, name cards & table plan cards. Everything was finished with calligraphy for the perfect final touch.
