Christmas Postal Dates 2015
Christmas is coming so hopefully lots of lovely ‘snail mail’ or ‘squirrel mail’ Christmas cards will be fluttering through your letterbox anytime soon! If you’re sending a ‘little something’ to brighten up someone’s Christmas we don’t want you to miss those all important recommended delivery dates so here’s a few to pop in your diary.
If you’re sending cards overseas, you’ll need to drop them in the post box by:
- Friday 4th December – Africa & Middle East
- Monday 7th December – Asia, Cyprus, Far East, Japan, Eastern Europe (ex. Poland, Czech Republic & Slovakia)
- Tuesday 8th December – Caribbean, Central & South America
- Thursday 10th December – Greece, Australia & New Zealand
- Monday 14th December – Czech Republic, Germany, Italy & Poland
- Tuesday 15th December – Canada, Finland, Sweden & USA
- Wednesday 16th December – Austria, Iceland, Ireland, Portugal & Spain
- Thursday 17th December – France
- Friday 18th December – Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia & Switzerland
If you’re sending to a loved one using British Forces Post Office:
- Friday 27th November if you’re sending to an Operational BFPO Friday 11th December if you’re sending to a Static BFPO.
- Saturday 19th December – for 2nd class post and Royal Mail signed for.
- Monday 21st December – for 1st class post and Royal Mail signed for.
- Wednesday 23rd December for Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed.
