Colour of the Year 2014 from Pantone

Radiant Orchid

Colour trends come and go, sometimes you just have to take them with a little pinch of salt, especially where weddings are concerned! In the last couple of years we’ve had emerald green and tangerine (not the easiest of colours for a romantic wedding.. & trying to get your bridesmaid into a tangerine dress may have  proved slightly difficult!) but this years Radiant Orchid & Dazzling Blue are the colours that experts at Pantone are predicting.

Radiant Orchid is a vibrant, rich, pretty purple shade that works perfectly for weddings, from bridesmaid dresses to flowers and accessories, and, of course, stationery. Here in the studio we believe that shades of darker purples through to paler shades of lilac are going to bring a fresh new colour to our collections. We’ve had a long time loving nudes and peaches and this may just be our new ‘must have’!

Dazzling Blue

Dazzling Blue is the brightest of all blues and we’ve found that the best way to capture this shade for stationery is to use a metallic or shimmer finish card.

Its a stunning accent colour and would work beautifully for gorgeous and glamorous weddings to Mediterranean and beach weddings.
