Will you be my..? cards
Back in April we blogged about a new addition to our greetings card range, our ‘will you be my bridesmaid?’ card:
It’s been such a lovely surprise to find out how popular our bridesmaids cards were & in the months since April we’ve been asked if we can create cards for maids of honour & flower girls too. We thought this was such a lovely idea it got us sketching.
Here are the newest additions to our collection!
Maid & matron of honour cards:
As with our bridesmaids cards, these two cards feature a hand illustrated print of a beautiful bridesmaid’s dress, with a bouquet & a pair of heels. The words ‘will you be my maid of honour?’ or ‘will you be my matron of honour?’ are printed below in an old fashioned typewriter font.
What’s the difference between maid & matron of honour? Traditionally ‘maid of honour’ refers to your chief bridesmaid if she is unmarried, if she’s married she’s referred to as your ‘matron of honour’.
Flower girl cards:
This card features a hand illustrated print of a little flower girl dress hanging on a string of bunting, with a little butterfly & flowers growing below. The words ‘will you be my flower girl?’ are printed below in the same old fashioned typewriter font. The card is printed on to silk cardstock in black ink.
Perfect for asking little ones to have a special roll on your wedding day!
These cards, & all of our greetings cards, are available to buy over at notonthehighstreet!
